KARMAKARIŞIK

Günümüz insanının dışarıdan bakıldığında mükemmel görünen hayatının ardındaki gerçekler anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır. Kaos, iletişimsizlik, etrafındaki olaylara karşı duyarsızlaşma gibi konular filmin içerisinde yer almaktadır. Gündelik kadın erkek ilişkisi üzerinden, sadakat, ihanet ve intikam duygularının işlendiği bu hikayede, maddesel ve manevi olarak insanlığın tüketmekte olduğu ortak değerler sorgulanmaktadır.

Teknik olanakları kısıtlı kullanarak, doğala en yakın hale ulaşmak hedeflenmiştir. Ekipman olarak üç adet Mark III ve yaka mikrofonu kullanılmıştır. Film çekime başladıktan sonra hiç kesilmeden çekilmiştir. Neil Labute’e ait Helter Salter isimli tiyatro metninin uyarlanması sonucu film senaryosu oluşturulmuştur.

Helter Skelter

The work attempts to tell the truth behind the lives of today’s human beings that seem perfect from the outside. Some of the issues that the film touches on are kaos, miscommunication, and desensitization to the world surrounding humans. The story focuses on the notions of fidelity, betrayal, and revenge through an ordinary relationship of a man and a woman. The film questions both material and moral values that humanity is consuming.

The use of technical means is restricted in order to create a work that is as natural as possible. The equipment used in the making of the film consisted of three Mark IIIs and lapel microphones. Once the shooting began, it was never cut. The scenario of the film was written by adapting the script of Neil Labute’s play Helter Skelter.
